SRM Telematics API
The Telematics API can be used in asset service management where applications can receive telematics data, evaluate that information, and then communicate with the Decisiv platform to initiate the appropriate actions. This enables the ability to interpret the severity of fault information and create the service event cases as necessary.
The Telematics API populates data into the Decisiv Service Relationship Management (SRM) Ecosystem from our telematics system partners, who receive the data directly from hardware devices installed on assets. Upon accessing the data in the Decisiv SRM Ecosystem, asset managers and owners gain heightened visibility into asset performance and are enabled to make better-informed decisions regarding overall service management.
The following data is available to Ecosystem partners via the Telematics API from Decisiv:
- Fault code data, including high engine coolant temperature and low transmission fluids
- Diagnostic readings from sensors, such as filter and battery conditions, along with associated meter data, such as location data
- Meter data, such as total fuel consumed, mileage, engine hours, and location data
