In a reversal of previous quarterly decreases, in Q3 2025 combined parts and labor costs in the Decisiv Commercial Vehicle Service Analysis Report increased by 3.7%. Higher costs across the board may reflect that fleet right sizing and the recent closures of carriers are aligning capacity with freight demand and driving up mileage and consequently service needs for existing equipment. Quarterly cost increases were seen in 4.8% higher parts costs and a 2.0% rise in labor expenses.
